Transfer Station - 2010
The Transfer Station wil be open on September 18 and October 23 from 9am to 4pm.
The Transfer Station is located at approximately 5447 143rd Ave.
An attendant will be on duty and a fee will he charged. All household waste excluding paint & hazardous material will be accepted.
Appliances with freon and tires are accepted for an extra fee.
FREE SMOKE DETECTORS
Graafschap Fire Department has smoke detectors available to Township Residents who cannot afford to buy them. Call 616-396-4060 for information or for assistance with installation.

BURNING PERMITS
If you live in the Graafschap Fire Department area, please call 616-396-4060 or 269-751-7655 for a burning permit.
If you live in the Hamilton or Overisel Fire Department area, please call the Allegan County Burn Line 269-686-5222 for a burning permit.
OBTAIN A BURNING PERMIT BEFORE YOU BURN, FINES AND PENALTIES COULD BE LEVIED IF YOU BURN WITHOUT A PERMIT AND THE FIRE DEPARTMENT IS CALLED.
