Townships seeking non-voting member for Holland Board of Public Works Board of Directors
The four townships contiguous to the City of Holland - Park Township, Holland Charter Township, Fillmore Township and Laketown Township - are looking for a joint ex officio non-voting member on the Holland Board of Public Works Board of Directors.
This position was created because the four townships represent a significant portion of the utility's customer base. The representative will bring the perspective of the townships to the deliberation of the public works board of directors and keep the townships informed when projects or policy issues impact them. The individual chosen will be asked to regularly update the townships on current board of public works topics.
The township representative will attend all regular board of public works monthly meetings and study sessions and participate in all discussions and proceedings of the board but not vote.
This position is for 3 years.
Those interested in becoming an ex officio member on the Holland Board of Public Works Board of Directors should send a letter of interest noting applicable skills and qualifications, and how you would be beneficial to both the board and the townships, to Julie Northrup, Park Township Office, 52 S. 152nd Ave., Holland MI 49424 or jnorthrup@parktownship.org.
Letters must be received by Oct. 15.
